Goods received today and felt very disappointed!! As when opening the carton box and obviously found a damaged hole on material. Wondering if there may have any quality personnel to take any audit??Still have no time to open the whole tent for inspection yet and will update further soon if any.

Elle est vraiment bien faite. Très bonne qualité. Peut-être améliorer la solidité des poteaux qui soutiennent le petit auvent (ils devraient être plus costauds) Les instructions sont cousus sur la poches de transport très bonne idée. 😃

It was heavy rainy day for 2 days and no leaking. Lots space and loved it during my camping but hard time after.. because I have to wash little dirty area from mud. And have to dry them.. it is not easy.Maybe better use nice day. Also, recommend for family. Hard to set up by myself ( I did it with my sister this time but I felt smaller suv tent from napier would be better)

Spacious, well-built vehicle-side tent — easy setup with two peopleJust got back from our first trip with this tent and it's a great one. Roomy interior, easily fit two beds plus storage, and the vehicle-side design worked perfectly parked next to our camper.Setup took about 20 minutes with two people (would recommend having a second set of hands) and breakdown was just as quick. Build quality feels solid — you can tell they thought through the details. Instructions were clear and easy to follow.Already planning our next trip with this tent. Highly recommend for anyone car camping or pairing with an RV/camper site.

The tent is spacious and easy to set up. We use the small area at the left as a toilet area. We've used the tent 3 times already this year and it is just amazing.

We do love this item. It fits our SUV well. We will be adding a second cinch strap (matching the lower one installed on one side.It is heavy but easy to install. The problem is that you absolutely have to use the guy wires, especially without the rainfall or it will fall over. So if you camp in the far north in the canadian shield where the rock doesn't allow for pegs or if you camp on a site with gravel or too many tree roots, you will not be able to use this without the rainfall if there is any wind at all. But to be clear, it is very stable with the rainfall attached and the guy wires properly pegged. I have owned many heavy duty and lightweight tents over the years and would say that other than the problem with the footprint size needing a family large flat site so that the poles sit right for the guy wires to work well, this tent is really functional, tall and great for calm, warmer summer weather camping.It attached well to the suv with the 1 modification I listed above. There is plenty of room inside. Lots of doors and the material quality is on the lighter side. We use thw screen room area to store outdoor equipment and our hitch mount rack, it's also a good spot for a sheltered dog spot to use the washroom late at night.We tested it with a portable air conditioner in an extremely hot and humid day, along with a small ceramic tent heater at 12c overnight. It held the temperature at 18c overnight with the heater on low (just barely) and the air conditioner was able to drop the humidity and temperature from 32c to 24c in the shade. Although there are tons of windows, the screen mesh is tightly woven and did not cool naturally as well as i thought it would- which is a good thing. The material being thin did not hold temperature changes well so this is more of a traditional tent than a thicker single layer tent would be if you are looking to climate control an area with pets or young children.

I've used this tent 3 times now, the last time was on my first solo trip + in the rain. I wanted to really test it.First time I used it camping with a friend. It took us about ten minutes to set up (attached to the car - see pic) including the vestibule but not the rainfly.Solo set up took me about 20 minutes for the whole thing. I'm 5'10" so it was pretty easy for me to get the rain fly on, but I can imagine it might take a bit longer for anyone shorter. Everything else was as breezy as the last times I've set it up with a helper.The campsite where I was didn't have access to attach it to my vehicle - 2015 Forester (which it fits perfectly, btw) and I didn't stake it (deep woods and I was experimenting.)A terrific thunderstorm came up and the thing didn't move. The only water that came into the main cabin was a teensy bit by one of the doors I neglected to zip all the way. Even the vestibule wasn't too soggy despite the walls not being attached to the footprint in any way.Really more than I needed for a solo trip, but I feel super confident using this with the grands for any journey.

I bought this tent for a 3 1/2 month camping road trip. I like a lot of space when camping with other folks. For me, nothing spoils a camping trip more than being crammed to tightly in a tent that you get no sleep. That said, this 6-person tent was used for only 2 people. It was fantastic. We had enough room for a double mattress pad and sleeping bags, but all our gear inside the tent. We also stored lots of gear in the vestibule, which is really nice. It can keep you gear nearby and dry if it rains. We only attached it to the car one time while boondocking in Valley of the Gods. Generally, standard camp sites are not set up in a way that you can set up the tent and attach it to your car. But, it works fine as a stand alone tent. My guess is that's how it will get used most of the time.One star removed: I only wish it had a proper rain fly attachment that can be used when not attached to the car - I can't be that hard to make something that can be zipped into that opening. We gerry-rigged a "rain fly" for that open wall with the vestibule foot pad and spare tent poles for the awning. It didn't work that great, but kept most of the rain out.It's also quite large and heavy - it's a 6-person tent so that's how it is. I'm a 50 year old female and was still able to set it up and take it down alone, but it was very time consuming and you have to get clever with getting the rain fly over the top of the tent. With 2 people set up and take down only takes about 20 minutes.Quality materials and construction - I will last a good long while. But know that it may leak when used as a stand alone tent and it's size and weight can be limiting for some folks.

We have used our Napier tent for 3 out of the last 5 weekends and we love it. Calculated that with the tent and van with back seats removed we have around 180 sq ft of “RV” space. When going to campgrounds you do need to look for camp sites that a popup trailer would use since tent sites usually don’t allow connect to vehicles. We have found that you need a heavy duty tarp underneath since you will most times be setting up on gravel. I purchased the foot print flooring for the extra room and used clips to connect to tent and now we have a room that stays dryer and warmer. The extra room was meant to be a screen in porch but with some work you can make it usable. We still use it mainly for storage and portapotty room. One issue as others have mentioned is that the corner do leak some. I have seam sealed all corners and waterproof sprayed the porch area not covered by the rain fly. The rain fly does an excellent job but should have been larger to cover the vehicle connection. The main tent on the side of the vehicle connection leaks on the right and left sides. I plan to extend my seam sealing on that whole side. There is still a problem with zippers that can not be sealed. This is where a couple of feet of rain fly on that side would have been great. Of course all tents usually leak, especially one of this size where the rain fly does not cover the whole tent.All in all I would recommend this tent to anyone that wants to go glamping and doesn’t want to sleep on the ground. BTW, I have two electric heaters, one for van and one for tent and we stay very warm in Nov and Dec camping in VA. I also have a microwave on a 6 foot table with kitchen setup in a plastic 3 draw unit.Thanks Napier for providing an outlet to regular vacations during COVID times.

I finally got around to using this SUV TENT. It's big and it's tall. I can stand up in the main section easily. Did I say it was big?There are several configurations. The simplest setup is to just use it as a standalone tent - no SUV - where you set up just the main section only without using the rain fly/sun shade awning, the "breazeway" section or the part that allows you to hook up to your SUV. This is what I did when I first used it. It's great that you don't have to hook it up to a vehicle in order for the tent to function properly. It's very versatile in that regard because some campsites might not accommodate such a setup - TENT ONLY in other words.After that simplest of setups, you can begin to start using the tent's other features. You can add the rain fly to the top. It also doubles as open air sun shade. This is great on hot days, let me tell you! Especially when there are no shade-providing trees around. You can also setup the enclosed "breezeway" if you want, but you don't have to if you don't have the space or simply do not want to hassle with it. It's a great place to sit and still be indoors so to speak. This section does not have a floor, but bare ground instead. It'll hold two folding chairs easily. This is another very nice feature to have especially during the mosquito-filled evenings.You can also gain access to the main sleeping area through a zipper door right behind the "breezeway". This part of the tent will just simply hang down if you don't set it up. It stays attached to the main sleeping room, whereas the rain fly can be removed. Of course last but certainly not least, is the configuration where you have the tent fully hooked up to your SUV. This is by far the best one. Your kids can sleep up in the vehicle and be safe and sound while everyone else sleeps in the main section.There's a net that hooks to the ceiling of the main sleeping room where you can hang a light and keep your precious belongings safe and sound like your smartphone or tablet. At night, you can look up at the stars when the rain fly is not attached. The tent has a some see through netting up there.It's BIG!. Outside of that, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tent. FOUR STARS because of the rather high price.UPDATE-------6/21/2015-----------I just got back from camping in the Black Hills near Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota; I took the whole family, five of us, two adults and three kids. We stayed at Sylvan Lake Campgrounds and Recreational Area located in Custer State Park. It's a wonderful place to visit, but it's up there in the Black Hills where the weather can change in a matter of minutes. We were there for five days and four nights and the weather changed as many times. It rained three times. It got kinda windy for a while. It was cold at night. It was both hot and cold during the daytime. It got foggy a few times. It was sunny. It was overcast. You name it, we lived through it. Thankfully it didn't snow. The tent was a godsend. My wife and I first set it up without attaching it to our SUV. All five of us slept in the tent that first night. Plenty of room. The next two nights we attached it to the SUV, and the two small kids slept up in it while us bigger family members slept in the tent. That was the best. We had air mattresses and it was like sleeping on my bed at home. The rain fly worked miracles. It kept the tent dry, warm, and wind free. Thank you rain fly!!!!We even set up the BREAZEWAY. Though we hardly used it except to store some of our gear so to keep it from getting wet when it rained.I couldn't be happier. Perhaps I'll give it a 5 star rating. Maybe I'll do that after I use it one more time on another epic camping trip with the whole family.

First the size of this think is quite impressive. I did a dry run in my driveway with the kids and it was so large it was hard to even fit.Assembly was mildly difficult but not too bad especially considering the size. I wish there was a way to fold up or tuck away the screen room if it’s not needed. In my case I was in the driveway and unable to stake it down so it just hung there all loose and floppy as it needs to attach to the ground stakes to hold in place. The rain shield on top could use some improvements. Once you put it on the window facing the passenger side is now useless as the rain cover comes all the way down the outside of that wall. It should be more of an upside down U shape so that that window is still useable or at least have a flap that could be opened like the one at the rear side. You can’t really leave it off because of how big the top vents are and it’s not something easy put on and off as needed due to the size and height. The connections to the roof rack were a little small for my car (Tesla model Y) but they worked. When connection pounds were slightly awkward but I was able to hook them to the wheel covers. The part that goes under the car was very confusing. Ultimately I ended up just wadding it up and shoving it all under the bumper. There’s hooks and stuff there but their purpose isn’t clear as they seam to lift the tent in a awkward way.As mentioned before the size is the best feature. The tent is also quite heavy as a result. The canvas is very strong and the waterproof bottom is nice as well. Once assembled the strength is great. The top hook and gear shelf are also very nice.Overall happy with just a few mild disappointments.

We are taking a 3 month long camping road trip from Kentucky to Alaska this summer and bought this as part of our camping gear to go with our Tundra DIY camping topper. We set it up at home first to try it and have taken it on one three day camping trip so far. The tent is easy to set up - the first time will take a while but it isn't difficult - is surprising roomy and seems to be quite well constructed. It took some time to figure out how to get it attached to the truck without gaps but, once you get it done once, it isn't complicated. We were pleased to find that the screen room zips off completely, as does the vehicle sleeve. The only drawback I have found - and this is really a design issue that makes me wonder if the designer has ever camped in a developed campground - is that the screen room is on the wrong side. This is not an issue for using the tent in more primitive or dispersed campsites but for use in state and national parks, the wider space in a campsite is almost always on the passenger side of the vehicle when backed into the site (see picture) to accommodate RV's, which always have the door on the passenger side. This isn't a show stopper for us but will make it impossible to use with the screen room in some locations. It would be awesome if it were designed to attach to either side of the tent. All in all, we are happy with the tent and the flexibility it provides for our camping adventures and would recommend it.
